Masterblasters employs an integrated Management System that includes an Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) System, a Quality Management System (QMS), an Environmental Management System (EMS) and a Personnel Management System. This ensures the all work is conducted safely, cleanly, and to the highest standard.

Quality Management System

The Masterblasters Quality Management System (QMS) considers three main components:

  • Quality Control
  • Quality Assurance
  • Quality Improvement.

Quality management is focused not only on product or service quality, but also the means to achieve it. Our QMS, therefore, uses quality assurance and control of processes, as well as products/services to achieve more consistent quality.

Masterblasters QMS ensures that processes are systemised and documented, staff are trained and mentored, and a process of checks and balances ensures the quality of all outputs. This is overlaid by a process of continuous improvement.

Masterblasters uses a Quality Manual and related quality system documentation that is written to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. While not ISO accredited, the Masterblasters QMS documents the six procedures mandated under ISO9001:2008:

  • Document Control
  • Records Control
  • Control of non conforming product
  • Preventive action
  • Corrective action
  • Internal Audit


  • has determined the processes needed for the QMS and their application throughout the organisation,
  • has determined the sequence and interaction of these processes,
  • has determined criteria and methods needed to ensure that both the operation and control of these processes are effective,
  • ensures the availability of resources and information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of these processes,
  • monitors, measures where applicable, and analyses these processes, and
  • implements actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement of these processes.

1. Customer satisfaction. We deliver the highest standards of abrasive blasting and painting in the Darling Downs. Customer satisfaction is measured by remaining in constant communication (both written and verbal) with our clients. We aim to not just meet their expectations, but to exceed them. Our goal is to ensure this level of satisfaction for the complete life span of the products we treat.

2. On-Time Delivery. Our commitment to maintaining agreed delivery times is second to none. Where timelines do not allow for equipment to be brought to our premises, mobile teams are used to reduce the timeframe.

3. Safe Working Conditions. The management and staff of Masterblasters are committed to providing safe working conditions for both staff and customers. We ensure compliance with current Workplace Health and Safety regulations by ensuring protective clothing and equipment are utilised, risks are identified and managed, and staff are trained and have site specific instructions. This is enhanced by providing adequate supervision and ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained in good working condition.

4. Highly Trained Staff. We have highly trained staff who are committed to the company and to our Quality Management System and customer service ideals. Health and Safety System

Masterblasters has implemented a structured OH&S system to achieve a consistently high standard of safety performance.

Environmental Management System

Masterblasters is committed to preserving the environment. We achieve this by minimising our carbon footprint and rigorously controlling our waste. We use green energy and energy saving technology wherever possible. We minimise the use of packing and recycle where possible.
